PaviJoint

PaviJoint is a robust, leave-in-place formwork and armoured joint system engineered for external concrete yards and hardstanding areas trafficked by vehicles and MHE fitted with pneumatic tyres. Its galvanised steel divider plates, integrated load-transfer dowels and protective arris profile provide durability, controlled slab movement and long-term performance in exposed environments.

Designed for rapid installation and reliable joint opening behaviour, PaviJoint incorporates modular intersection components and delivers class-leading load transfer with dependable slab protection for joint openings of up to 30 mm.

PaviJoint has been developed from decades of industrial flooring expertise, with ease of installation and reliable long-term performance at its core. Its galvanised steel back-to-back divider plates incorporate folded top edges with integral anchoring tabs to ensure strong mechanical engagement with the concrete. Vent apertures promote full concrete compaction, while frangible fasteners allow controlled separation as adjacent slabs cure and undergo shrinkage.

An optional full-depth miothene compressible insert can be incorporated to accommodate slab expansion where required. Precision-welded load-transfer dowels, fitted with low-friction sleeves on the free side, ensure accurate positioning and allow unrestrained slab movement, delivering consistent load transfer throughout the service life of the slab.

PaviJoint is designed to simplify installation, offering rapid set-up, straightforward alignment of continuous joint runs and simple connection using standard accessories. Available accessories include installation jacks, four-way intersections (X), three-way intersections (T) and corner intersections (L), enabling efficient layout and accurate joint configuration on site.

PaviJoint has class leading load transfer capability and provides long term arris protection. Suitable for up to 30mm joint openings.
